Not So Mellow Yellow #OOTD

This season I’m actively trying to incorporate more pops of color into my OOTDs. For this outfit, I went with a thrifted yellow blazer that scored for $10 during an overstock sale at my local Dress for Success store last fall.

I paired it with a red Gramercy tee and a pair of sash tie belt, high waisted wide leg pants and a pair of cow haired, leopard print loafers from Express.

The Gramercy tee line and sash tie pants are two constant staples in my work wardrobe. I have each of them in multiple color and design variations. I’m wearing a medium top and size 8 pants. The pants ran a little big so I could have comfortably sized down to a 6.

On the day that I wore this outfit I actually had to give a presentation for about 500 people so I wanted to look professional but not too stuffy or boring.

I also added a pair of bright yellow glasses from Zenni Optical that I have in every color! Lol. In my defense they’re less than $10 including the prescription.

Hair: Wash n Go using Shea Moisture Coconut Hibiscus Curling Smoothie, Shea Moisture Argan Oil and Eco Styler Gel with Argan Oil.
