Curly Hair

Any hair dryer will work for curly or wavy hair as long as it comes with a diffuser attachment. Most blow dryers will work with a universal diffuser attachment. The diffuser allows curls and waves to dry evenly without creating tangles and frizz.

Thin & Fine Hair

If you have thin or fine hair pick a dryer with an ion on/off setting. Ion dryers are great for smoothing out unruly hair but can leave thin hair looking less than voluminous. Turn the ion setting off and aim the nozzle at your roots in order to create more texture and body. 

Thick Hair

If you have thick hair pick a dryer with at least 1800 watts such as the T3 hair dryer. Thick and coarse hair requires more heat in order to style and straighten. A more powerful dryer will also reduce drying time.
