My spies tell me that actor Denzel Washington, whose new film American Gangster hits theaters this Friday, is one unhappy camper. What's got Denzel mad enough to slap Sanaa Lathan?

Well, reports are that American Gangster is running neck and neck with Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married, for the most bootlegged movie this year. According to unpublished reports, more than 10,000 bootlegged copies of American Gangster were downloaded from some obscure internet website based in the islands. In addition to that, thousands more bootlegged copies were sold by street enterprisers in barber shops and beauty salons across the country this weekend.

On a side note, as I was listening to Wendy Williams on my laptop yesterday...countless callers checked in to voice their opinions about a movie has yet to be released...how you ask? Every damn body in America has this flick on bootleg, and from what I hear it's one of the clearest you'll ever see... Damn Denzel!

As with everything to do with hip hop culture, the recent news accounts about the vandalism at the Tupac Amaru Center for the Arts are being questioned. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has run an article saying DeKalb Police Officials are saying that there was really ‘no noose around the neck' of the late hip hop icon's (2Pac) statue at the Center.

Versa Manos, publicist for the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center told ThugLifeArmy.com site administrator Robert that she and her company are "standing by our press release. That was the information that was given to me from the folks at the center." Versa Manos also told ThugLifeArmy.com that the marble base of the statue will have to be replaced.Versa Manos also told ThugLifeArmy.com that the man arrested did not have anything to do with the incident with the statue.

Rapper LIL' WAYNE has been accused of failing to pay a $146,000 jewellery bill. Weezy is being sued by Jack Sutton Fine Jewellery who allege he failed to pay for a diamond ring and necklace he purchased earlier this month. The shop filed a lawsuit at Miami-Dade Circuit Court in Florida claiming Carter agreed to pay the bill in monthly installments - but after receiving the first check for $24,000 on Oct 12th and a second dated January 2008, the payments were stopped. Proprietor Jack Sutton says, "I've been doing business with him for at least 10 years. He's always been wonderful with paying me. He spent a lot of money with me. I thought we have a really good relationship. I don't know what happened." Carter's attorney Ron Sweeney branded the incident a "misunderstanding".He says, "If, in fact, the allegations are true, then it will be resolved. My client is very responsible." The jewellery case is the latest in a series of legal trials for Carter - he is currently fighting drug charges in Atlanta, Georgia, gun possession charges in New York and two civil suits in Baltimore, Maryland after several women suffered injuries during his homecoming concert.

Rapper COOLIO is set to star in his own reality TV show for an American women's cable network.The Gangsta's Paradise hitmaker - real name Artis Leon Ivey Jnr - will star in an Oxygen production entitled Coolio & the Gang. The show will follow the hip-hop star as he raises six teenagers by himself, while maintaining a "music career" and launching a clothing line.

What in the Sam Hell is this??? My guess is that it won't make it past the third episode. SMH.

Singer GWEN STEFANI has vowed to help her native California recover from the recent wildfires by donating the profits from a recent gig to the victims. The Sweet Escape hitmaker will give all proceeds from her gig in San Diego on Tuesday night to those suffering in the aftermath of the fires which swept the state last week. And Stefani admits she almost cancelled her show after hearing thousands of residents had been evacuated.She says, "When I heard about the devastation of the fires, at first I felt I should cancel my show out of respect, but then it occurred to me there might be a more useful solution."

TINY IS PREGNANT AGAIN

A source close to Tameka "Tiny" Cottle has confirmed that Tiny is pregnant again with T.I.'s baby. The sex of the baby is unknown. The baby would be the couple's second child together. Tiny delivered a stillborn baby girl this past March and the couple were determined to have another baby.

Meanwhile, T.I., real name Clifford Harris, was denied bond in a federal magistrate court today. In attendance at the proceedings were Tiny, two of T.I.'s other baby mamas and all of T.I.'s children except for King who remained at home. Tiny, who was arrested on marijuana and Ecstasy possession on Saturday, took King to visit his father in jail yesterday. I'm told the first thing T.I.P. did was apologize to Tiny.

Ciara did it big at The Velvet Room in Atlanta for her 22nd birthday. Rumor has it that Missy bought her a huge diamond necklace and 50 (who was not in attendance) copped her a new Lambo! WOW! Youngbloodz, Ne-yo, Bobby Valentino, Crime Mob, Missy and other ATLiens were in the building.

If things weren’t already tough enough for Britney Spears, the troubled pop star now has to contend with friends and family shopping books around to profit from her woes. The lowest blow of all may be that one of those volumes is her very own diary.
According to Life & Style, Brit’s close pal, Sam Lutfi, contacted a U.K. tabloid shortly after her dismal showing at the VMAs to cash in on Britney’s trashed treasures.
“Sam e-mailed the tabloid saying he had Britney’s diaries,” an inside source told the magazine. “They contain Britney’s deepest feelings at the most troubling time of her life. Sam also said he had e-mails and firsthand insight into Britney’s life. He said the information was sensational and that he already had offers in excess of $1 million.”

In his defense Sam saya it's not true and that Britney doesn't even have any diaries. Poor child.

Another O.J. co-defendant has agreed to plea to lesser charges -- in exchange for his testimony against the Juice.Michael McClinton has become the third person involved in the alleged Vegas hotel room holdup. He told a judge in a Clark County courtroom this morning that he'll accept a deal to plead guilty to robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery, and testify against Simpson and two other men.McClinton's lawyer William Terry confirmed that his client can testify that O.J. asked him to bring two guns with him when they went to the hotel room at the Palace Station casino. Simpson's attorney Yale Galanter said this was not a surprise, adding "What this comes down to is the real bad guys are pointing a finger at O.J., and the prosecution is giving away the courthouse to try to shore up their case." McClinton could receive up to 11 years in prison.

Ya'll know I'm mad as hell right...I'm from Buffalo and we're probably the only O.J. fans left! SMH.
